Cressman Tree Maintenance & Landscaping Ltd. is a family-owned business that has grown and operated in the Cobourg area since 1984. We specialize in professional landscaping, property beautification and tree services for residential, commercial and municipal clients. With over 35 years of experience in the business, we are committed to delivering the highest standard of quality and workmanship for every project we undertake. Having worked on numerous and diverse projects over the years, we have built a solid reputation for excellence in year-round service.

We offer a variety of services and all work is performed by mature, professional employees while supervised by our industry professionals with decades of experience in every aspect of the business.

Meet our Team

Owner/Operator, President

Del Cressman

Del and his wife Leslie are partners in life and partners in business. They started Cressman Tree Maintenance and Landscaping Ltd. in 1984. Del is a Humber College graduate with his diploma as a Landscape Technician, majoring in Arboriculture. He has been a member of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) since 1984 and has served on both the ISA-International and ISA-Ontario Chapter Boards of Directors, and is a past-President of ISA-Ontario. Del holds the honoured distinction of ISA Board Certified Master Arborist® (BCMA) and served on the committee which developed the BCMA certification program. Fewer than two percent of all ISA Certified Arborists® currently hold this certification.

As an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist®, Del is qualified to develop plant health programs including insect and disease diagnosis, tree and tree hazard assessments, and tree preservation plans. Del also prides himself in guiding and training young Arborists to become the best in the business for the betterment of the industry. Del is a current member of the Fleming College Arboriculture and Urban Forestry Technician Program Advisory Committee.
